From apps on our phones, binge watching TV shows, publishing our lives on the Internet, researching for school, to medical analysis for professional applications, university research centers, etc., we have needed and will continue to need Data-Centers. What we don't need is 100 year old building designs left over from the early days of the industrial revolution. We don't need international companies managing and selling our data - back to us. I propose #netzerowaterpower systems that take advantage of NM assets like cheap land, geo-thermal power, below ground cooling, above ground wind and solar voltaics. As well, enough with the mega facilities. We can have competition from local university architectural students to design systems taylored to municipality needs. Our own municipalities should be funding new #netzerowaterpower centers that we can build and use locally and sell excess capacity for our tax base. The model is more like the early days of the Internet where universities provided service to other schools, research hospitals, and local companies.
